Tat Garment Factory in late 1970s and 1980s.
The innovation was made in the 1990s as the clients do not
only need a good factory, but also a reliable partner who
can support their product development.

1967 - |
M.
F. Chan was a tailor, making shirts and suits for tourists
in his 50 square meter workshop named
Bestpo Company.
‘They only spent few days in Hong Kong, I had
to deliver swiftly.’ |

1979 - |
Being a
tailor for over 12 years, M. F. Chan founded Fu Tat
Garment Factory.
‘Tailor-made and mass production are two different
things but somewhat similar; that is to satisfy your
clients with efficiency and quality.’
Gradually, he expanded the production line for manufacturing
various kinds of woven apparels. |

1992 - |
The
2nd generation began to take over the business. Joe
merged the tailor workshop and garment factory into
Bestpo Enterprises Limited. In consideration to the
increasing demand from overseas clients, he moved
the production to Mainland China and started to concentrate
in sports and functional jacket. |

the new Century - |
Inherited
his father’s endeavor and insistence, efficiency
and quality are still his main concern.
‘But that is not enough.’
